Prithvi Highway shut after gas leak and road subsidence
The highway was closed after a gas tanker overturned and leaked near Galchhi while a separate section subsided, disrupting traffic through Dhading.
The Prithvi Highway was completely closed after a gas bullet truck overturned and leaked near Machhedi, close to Galchhi, while a section also subsided near Galaundi in Dhading. The Department of Roads said crews would assess conditions before work began on the damaged section.
