Investment Board approves two semi-reservoir hydropower projects
The Investment Board approved projects with a combined capacity of about 106 megawatts and a reported combined cost above Rs21 billion.
Onlinekhabar reported that the board approved the 58.9 MW Nar Khola and 46.72 MW Sani Bheri-3 projects at its October 9 meeting. It also set a February 2028 target for commercial generation from Arun-3 and called for steps to advance Upper Karnali construction. These are announced plans and targets; they do not mean the projects are already operating.
